I am a seasoned web developer with a strong passion for creating accessible, user-centric digital experiences. With extensive leadership experience, I guide teams toward success while upholding the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Accenture (2021 - Present)
Ecommerce Website
- ASP.NET
- Javascript
- jQuery
I am currently leading a team of offshore developers on an ecommerce website, enhancing the client’s ASP.NET website with new feature rollouts and accessibility improvements. My role involves both technical leadership and close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure timely and impactful deliveries.
Travel Experience Website
- Astro
- React
- Typescript
I served as the sole developer on a high-priority marketing website for a new travel experience offering. With a tight two-week timeline, I selected Astro — a web framework ideal for the client’s static site generation needs — marking a first-time implementation of Astro within Accenture. Despite numerous last-minute design and content changes, I successfully delivered the project on schedule for the client’s marketing timeline.
Investment Banking Application
- React
- Vite
- Material UI
- TDD
- Jest
- Storybook
- Springboot
- Typescript
I acted as one of the lead front-end developers working on a React application designed to replace the client’s legacy investment banking tool. This project had an emphasis on test driven development and pair programming, so that the team could better manage code literacy and retention of the multiple SPAs housed across several repositories, including a centralized monorepo.
As part of this project, I was tasked with traveling to India for two weeks to upskill nearly 50 offshore developers on the various aspects and best practices of the project’s React frontend, as well as its Springboot backend.
Internal Systems for Retailer
- React Native for Web
- GraphQL
- Typescript
For this project I led a full scale rewrite of the a major retailer’s existing in-store transaction application. The client needed an application that would run in a web browser, and on their in-store iPads. The solution needed to function across web browsers and iPads, prompting the use of React Native for Web — another first for Accenture. I managed a team of over 10 offshore developers, meeting with client stakeholders, conducting sprint meetings, and oversaw successful delivery of a pilot to release to their stores under a tight deadline.
Cross.Team (2019 - 2021)
Critical Alphabet
- Flutter
- Dart
This was a mobile application that I built for a client using Flutter. The application consisted of a list of colored cards containing definitions related to critical theory. I taught myself Flutter ahead of this project and was able to deliver this project as the sole developer.
WTFocus
- React
- Gatsby
- Typescript
WTFocus is a React app built using Gatsby that I built as a demo for a White Paper that was submitted to the ICT Accessibility Testing Symposium. The purpose of the app is to demonstrate to users the variety of options they have when creating focus indicator styles for their website. There is also an indicator that tells the user whether or not their currently applied styles are in violation of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Working Draft.
New Hampshire Down Syndrome Association
- Astro
- React
- shadcn
- AI
- GraphQL
- Typescript
- Tailwind
My little sister has Down syndrome, so the NHDSA is an organization very near and dear to my heart. I volunteered to build them a website a number of years ago, and configured a GraphqQL CMS so that board members could add and remove content from the site as the pleased. Recently, I redesigned and rebuilt the frontend using Astro SSR, integrating it seamlessly with the existing CMS. Much of the new layout was conceptualized using AI-assisted tools, streamlining the development process while enhancing the user experience.
NoLatin
- React
- Material UI
- Typescript
- PHP
“No Latin” is a free, web-based React application that converts blocks of content into an accessible web prototype using accessibility best-practices. This tool invites all designers and researchers to bringing intent into their design process by elevating the content quality early for people with disabilities.
Emerald Ocean
- Astro
- React
- Tailwind
- Typescript
- HeroUI
I’m a big fan of tabletop roleplaying games, so I developed this web application as a character sheet builder for the Wild Sea TTRPG. This project served as my introduction to the Astro framework, giving me hands-on experience with its capabilities and limitations.
